Macon, GA – Eighth District Congressional candidate Austin Scott today issued the following statement after reaching the top-level ‘Young Gun’ status as part of the National Congressional Committee’s Young Gun Program:

“Day after day our grassroots campaign is working to bring our common sense Georgian values back to Congress. It is because of our supporters’ hard work and generosity that my campaign has received this national recognition and I am grateful. For too long now our state has suffered the consequences of Jim Marshall and his Democratic majority’s borrow and spend agenda. With continued success we can put a stop to these failed policies and work towards building a better future for our children.”
